Bespoke Tours

Background

Travel has been one of my passions for my entire life and I have been fortunate enough to live out my dreams. I have lived in four countries: UK, Germany, Australia, and New Zealand with plenty of side trips in Europe along the way.

I have lived my life through a world of style, working for both interior and food magazines, writing captivating copy and creating images that entice interest with plenty of WOW factor. Colour has been my mantra and I have tried to live my life through this lens in everything I seek; it’s been my hobby, my passion, and has inspired my career.

I’m excited to be combining these many passions with Inspired by Georgi bespoke guiding and share the places I know best. Whenever I have a request for a trip I tailor the day/s depending on individual interests and passions. I love meeting new friends, having fun, travelling, and creating memories in stunning and fascinating places, trying to find the best regional food and the perfect view.

I look forward to creating memories together and hosting you soon

Reviews

If you’ve never been to Christchurch, NZ, a tour with Georgi—a true local with a global perspective—is an absolute must. On our private tour, Georgi offered insights and stories that you’d never find in a guidebook. She quickly picked up on the fact that my husband is an academic, and we explored Canterbury University, where Georgi herself studied. It felt like we had been transported to Oxford, England.

We were full of questions, curious about everything from the 2011 earthquake to politics, farming, polo ponies, and the stunning gardens designed by architect Miles Warren. As we ascended the hills surrounding Christchurch, Georgi patiently answered all our questions. She pointed out earthquake-damaged buildings and explained the debates around restoring certain historical sites versus reimagining them, like the Cardboard Cathedral.

Along the way, she shared tips on the best restaurants and New Zealand wines, and drove us to scenic lookouts with breathtaking views of the sea. After a delicious beachside lunch in Heathcote Ward, we ended the tour at her friend’s charming home. Her exuberant friend regaled us with tales of transforming her family’s former sheep farm into a vibrant English garden. A visit to Christchurch and a tour with Georgi is an experience not to be missed!
